Abbey has a degree in Visual design from Unitec Auckland coupled with vast experience in 5 star hotels which helps her to visualize what you are trying to achieve with your decor and designs. Please feel free to either call, text or email Abbey at anytime to talk about your next event.
Venue Manager: Heidi Pihama
Once you have booked a function with us Heidi will be your function planner and 1st point of contact. Heidi is an amazing function planner who knows how to pull everything into shape and make it prefect down to the very last detail.
Heidi returned to New Zealand in June 2010 after working in the hospitality industry for nine years in Australia where she has had an extensive career in function management.
Her experience includes managing function centres and a la carte restaurants in Sydney, Australia. She has specialised in weddings, birthday parties, Christmas parties, conferences, and corporate functions.
She is passionate about customer service and has in total eleven years hospitality experience. Initially beginning her career in Hotels with the Accor and Stamford Hotel chains, where she gained experience working in front office, restaurant, banquet (function and conferencing) departments.

Our team of staff that will look after you at the Windy Ridge have all undergone our intense Windy Ridge training system. This ensures they have the right attitude and skills to look after your guests. The Windy Ridge prides itself on having a friendly professional team.
The Kitchen Team
Our kitchen team has over 30 years experience in cooking. Our chefs have travelled and worked at some of the best function centres around the world.
Our food is Modern country cuisine which is cooked onsite fresh for your function. Our food is perfect for the area we are in, the Waikato, and is loved by all ages and taste buds. The chefs are happy to accomodate for any food allergies and special food requirements.
